From the early days of my youth, I've seen many cartoons come and go. Of all the cartoons I can remember seeing, this one cartoon tops the list has the most horrifying cartoon ever made in the history of all mankind. This childhood nightmare was called "Beanie and Cecil" Man.. I cant even begin to describe how much I used to hate this show. One time back when I was little, I had a dream that I reached through the TV screen and started chocking the crap out of beanie ( beanie is the little runt with the propellor on his hat). I can still hear him screming in that dream with the whining little voice he used to have ("Dont do that, leave me alone... STOP IT)! This stupid show was made back in the 1950's or early 60's and used to come on this 80's show that would play all the old cartoons from what they called the yesteryears. This show was even worse than another called Howdy Doody! Man I am SOOOO glad TV's changed
I watched this when I was very small, but don't remember any particular episodes...it must not have been very good.
Anyone seen Cartoon Network lately? Boy are they going downhill. As far as old toons, CN was showing that good awful Gigantor. It was so bad it was kinda funny. I didnt care for anything Filmation put out either (except TAS). Their animation was bland and lifeless. Disney they were not. And I'm probably gonna catch hell for this but Superfreinds was horrible. The animation, acting, and stories were MEH. But it was aimed at kids, so. Thank God for JL and JLU today.
The newer Tom and Jerry cartoons where they are friends instead of mortal enemies. What a bunch of crap.
Just about anything that was a tie in to a toy rather than inspiring toy lines. Transformers being about the only exception, but only because of the abortion that was Go-bots. I mean, GI Joe had a good concept, but wussifed American writing where laser spitting M16s are set on stun. Even BotP had bodies a decade earlier!!!
