If Dr. House did, in fact die they're wasting the opportunity to bring the show back in a decade or so, to a new generation as "This Old House."

Hugh Laurie would've been, would still BE, great for STAR TREK. Jar Jar Abrams and Damon Lindelost could hire him to play someone in STxIII maybe(?). HL would've been good as Bashir's brother (did Julian have ANY siblings? I forget) or first cousin, &/or the EMH in "Ship In A Bottle" instead of Andy Dick, plus various other guest spots. HL would have been good as a main role &/or supporting/recurring role on any of the 24th Century Trek series &/or movies.
