The Koreans are copying the US army working style - wasting hours preparing pointless reports and Powerpoints for their superiors. My last unit (when I retired from the army) took things to the next level though - having a "dress rehearsal" for meetings. Yep.....having a pre-meeting to make sure nobody would be embarrassed at the real meeting. Thankfully I retired with my sanity.
I should note that in the time since the thread was originally opened by average prayer time for the main daily prayer has increase from 7 minutes to 11 minutes as I've found other things to pray for. Like currently the people of Yemen and those impacted by the SoCal fires.
I prayed to God a few weeks ago to let me win the lottery, as I would do much good with it. I didn't win. Didn't even get one number. So God can kind of suck it.
Donate to trustworthy organizations. If you can't donate money, donate time. If time is a precious commodity (and it often is), spread the word about the help people need in places like Yemen, or SoCal. The idea is that if you can't donate, reach out to people who can, and wish to, and help direct their attention to a dire need.
I've never seen all of the MASH movie. Robert Duvall playing Frank Burns makes him way too an appealing character which is jarring after watching Larry Linville's portrayal of him those five years.
The MASH movie had TV Radar. And "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore", had TV Mel. Then when Flo left, they replaced her with movie Flo, but called her Belle. People were able to process that. Nowadays, studios/networks say they have to do 100% cast reboots because "audiences will be confused".
Was it it Trapper's description of Burns' belief that "every time a patient dies it's god's will or somebody else's fault"?
