More realistically, Iceland's PM and several ministers are implicated and there are calls for resignations/elections. The (now-deceased) father of British PM David Cameron has been implicated in helping this organisation devise their avoidance schemes, and a few British MPs or members of the House of Lords are mentioned as well. No Americans named, oddly.

Sounds fine, but enforced by whom, and paid to whom? Percentage based on amount of business done in each nation? They'll keep shifting it around to whoever gives them the best rates. Paid to the UN? Yeah, I can't see several players standing for that.
Well, yeah. It's pie-in-the-sky with all of the details and probably new institutions required, but it's a good long term aim.
Exactamundo. All revenues which should be payable to me and mine, which makes more sense and is more "fair" than anything you could possibly come up with. Tax havens like Channel Islands, Malta and Gib. are as popular as Liechtenstein/Lux/Switz. or Caymans and some Virgin Isles, depending on the bank and customer - they can be wholly law abiding, or accomplices to fraud (or some of both) depending on the circumstances.
I looked at the massive dump and I don't see the name of those deposed Nigerian princes I'm laundering money with. How odd.
You just know this will blow over within a few weeks without consequences for anyone. Because whatchagonnado.
No real impact on Putin, but Ukraines Petro Poroshenko could have serious problems at home. Looks as if he was setting some of this shit up while Ukrainian soldiers were being butchered at Ilovaisk in 2014 by Muscovite regulars.
The European left wing conspiracy machine is already running in high gear. Of course it's a plot by teh eeevil west to make Czar Vladimir look bad. I would really like to know what those people's obsession with Putin is. When a NATO bomb hits a hospital, many dead, NATO says sorry a gazillion times and tries to aviod this from happening in the future, everybody hates them for it. When Russia steals parts of other countries or flattens entire cities full of civilians to get to one bad guy, the same people are cheering. It's bizarre. Even more bizarre is that they're completely d'accord with the hard right in that matter. Those I understand - strong men, they like that. But the left? They do hate their own way of life to the point where they wish we'd become part of Russia
Oh for fuck sake. "Saying sorry" is not sufficient when you intentionally murder doctors and hospital patients. Name these people.
Indeed. I'm sure people are already itching to get back to blaming immigrants and the poor for all the political problems.
Nah. They just happened to be the location of the firm who got hacked. And as this story from last month indicates, we can probably expect to see more data dumps like this in the near future.
As much as I like these leaks that expose real assholery...... If I was a company I'd institute a new policy: No computers. Might be hard to do but I'd try.
The left loves strongmen just as much as the so called "hard right" you talk about. The left loved Lenin and Stalin and the USSR. The left still loves Russia and Putin. The left currently loves Islam as well. It's not the "hard right" letting all those "immigrants" into Europe.
The hacker could be the focus of an interesting action movie. If each national leader he exposed sends four teams of assassins, and each team is made up of twelve people, that's close to 600 assassins the hacker will have to kill. It's got Keanu Reeves written all over it.
Well, bombing a hospital... the only thing that can actually be done is to say sorry and try not to do it again and maybe help out if possible. What else? Russia just doesn't care. Makes them effective, granted. But cheering them on? Read the fucking Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Hague Conventions and the Geneva Conventions. Funny enough it's the same people who'll go 'against mainstream' whenever they detect mainstream. Those who think of themselves as oh-so enlightened, in the know, sceptical, intelligent. Those who'll question everything just to feel better about themselves. Of course they won't question the wildest of conspiracy theories because hey, it's not mainstream, the lying media doesn't report all the bullshit and thus it must all be true. In short, a huge group that was tiny just a few years ago but got 'enlightened' by the internet.
So... yeah. Ummm, is there a reason why we should care about this? I tried reading about this, and got really bored after a few sentences.
Prosecute and punish those involved in doing it in the first place. Where these things have happened it has been in full knowledge of what they're doing. So, name them. Right now you appear to be railing against a figment of your imagination.
