Hey, it's ok Krieg, I'm not your girlfriend, I'm not the one questioning your masculinity. Unemployed, no income, living with girlfriend's parents, too ashamed to go to your parents' home, excessive drinking and spending time posting on obscure websites while intoxicated? You're the man every father wants their little girl to shack up with.

No but seriously, I'll be sorry to see Skrain go. Sure, retreating into one's own echo chamber is the act of an intellectual coward, and sure, Skrain is a high-order asshole with delusions of grandeur, but we should mourn the fact that no one will confront him on his bullshit anymore, which does not do good things for discourse, civil or otherwise. Tribalism is really bad, folks, and we should not celebrate when one gives up the challenge, for now we have no way to reach him.

The people who actually disappear forever gradually appear less and less until their presence reaches zero.

Well, in SD's case he was less than zero for some years before the posting stopped.
