Wait, hang on. You're claiming superiority over some minor coding? Seriously? I'm not a Mac user and have no overt loyalty to Apple but so far I have found the IOS the most user friendly application for phones and tablets. While I don't think it is adequate for a fully powered PC or laptop, it's ideal for the lesser powered mobile devices. I used to have a non-Apple smartphone and was full of the same butthurt. But the simplicity and easy of use of the iPhone was more than enough to explain to me why the device was exactly what I needed. Maybe it's because I am not a hardcore gadget geek, but it suits my needs perfectly. Easy to use. Covers all the most modern needs. Rarely slow and, so far, never malfunctioning (this is my third iPhone). Job done.
This thread has taken a seriously inappropriate turn. Back on topic: I like the new flat design. Haven't hands-on time with the new OS yet, but the new UI makes things much more readable.
And now ios7 has broken 3-4 apps and I'm expected to tap at them all like a monkey picking his ass until they're all fixed.
I think he's more pointing out the tendency of Apple users to swear by how great Apple is for ease of use, yet a lot of the quality of life changes they make in each update have been a part of Android for quite some time.
