ICE Arrests 170 Immigrants Trying To Save Babies From Baby Jails

So, the Schutzstaffel ICE have decided that it's now a good idea to use jailed children as bait in order to arrest immigrants.
They put out a call, asking legal immigrants to sponsor some of the thousands of kids that they keep in cages. 170 people applied. But as it turns out, it was a sting operation and all of them were arrested.

That makes me mad, but sadly I'm already so disgusted with the Trump administration and the people who continue to uphold him that it's hard for me to get more worked up about it.

Nevertheless, it's sad to see a country that had such great potential ("We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal..." and "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddling masses yearning to breathe free..." and so on) and which was actually making some progress toward actually living up to those values, a generation ago, degenerate into racism and fascism.

"Oh say, does that star-spangled banner still wave o'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?" No, sadly, it does not. It still waves, but over a land where freedom is reserved more and more for a priveleged few, and who are anything but brave.
