    One Queen song that's really good (more rocking than "artsy" or over-produced) is Keep Your Self Alive the first cut on their first album!
    Check it out if you've never heard it. Weird I've never heard it on the radio over all these years of classic rock even when classic rock was just plain rock. :unsure:

    most radio programmers have no soul/heart even before computers started choosing the music. Yet in other countries throughout my military career radio stations in Bosnia, Germany, Korea, etc. stations seemed to be ran by actual passionate music fans! A kick-ass song is a kick-ass song full stop. Country, blues, rock, pop, jazz, new, old, it didn't matter. I don't know if that's the case anymore though.

    One of my all time favorite movies is Good Morning Vietnam, I used to pretend I had a radio show as a kid and always wanted be a DJ. When I graduated high, school, I wanted to get a broadcasting degree, but my mom talked me out of it. I hate that they are just button pushers that basically let the computer do all of the work.

    They used to use it as a staple live, but Queens' back catalogue was so extensive they could have songs that would be the defining moment for most bands on the b side of a single :)
