I don't like the term "colored" personally any moreso than "black", but if the NAACP is cool with it, fine. However, we did not say colored 20 years ago when I was 26. We did not say colored 30 years ago when I was 16. Even then colored was a term racists used. It was a term in media that came around when showing the past racism in the context of history. You know, like when Sam Becket was back in time and blacks were called colored because they could not use the N word. Why is that a word that a 26 year old uses at all?
