Orrr instead of shooting it, you could treat it nicely and maybe it would respond in the same manner. Or just ride the hell out of it. Both ways can be fun...if Wordforge was a horse I wouldn't complain at all
147 posts in 8 hours, during the evening in the United States! That's an average of over 3 minutes per post! Even this morning, when Europe isn't up yet and America is settling down seriously, the board is still dragging...
*sigh* If you think it's slow, imagine what it's like on dial-up! It's a combination of needing an upgrade and a new host. Elwood and Nick are working on the host issue and it would be sort of pointless to upgrade until we get a more reliable set-up. I know how tough and annoying it is..thanks for everyone's relative patience and continued presence despite the issues..we appreciate it!
Ugh. I wasn't here last night because I couldn't even load the page at all. It would time out before loading anything. So, I do feel your pain, believe me!
I tried for a while last night but posts seemed to go in (when they did at all) about 3-4 minutes after I hit the button. And you never could tell whether they were actually going to take or not. That accounts for all the dp's.
