    You'll love this:

    Link

It's a lot more complicated than Black Nova and the advantage of this is that you can build ports along with planets, and bases have increasingly nasty defenses you can add to (IIRC, level three gives you a nova cannon that can blast people out of orbit).

It also has hostile aliens who can chase you and attack you, and various ship types ranging from small scouts to Star Destroyers.

Please consider this a request to have Trade Wars added to the board, if possible.

    Thank you. :)

Black Nova Traders: hated it. Someone can have my Han Solo account.

    Get a real game, please.

Sorry Nick. I appreciate your effort putting games in for us to play, but this Black Nova Traders is very, VERY 'bleh'. They could've at least made the graphics better. The game mechanics and balance seem to be fairly sound, but they certainly could pretty it up somewhat. It feels that it's a step up from playing a text-based game.

I think better time could have been spent upgrading the Arcade section with more Flash-based retrogames. I'm not faulting your effort, but IMO it could have been spent better.

I completely disagree with Scorponok...and the traffic in the BNT thread shows there's considerable interest in it.

Well BNT is mostly math, there's really no "random" element to it besides the initial galaxy creation.

Trade Wars sounds pretty cool though

Trade Wars can get much bloodier, too. Especially when the planetary cannons blow visiting starships out of orbit and the debris and bodies spatter over the planetary shields.
