I'm confused...

So, Tamar is leaving, was there some super secret Elitforge chat party that I missed out on?

From what I gather for the past week or two Elwood and Tamar have been bouncing back and forth in here with one announcing their intention to quit, and the other quickly saying that if it happens they will, so the first then decides to stay. Back and forth a half dozen times.

I think Tamar just decided to do it and let people know afterwards to prevent the possibility of being persuaded to stay on.

Yup. I'm humped. But, it's okay because, sans her resignation, I have a positive outlook on WF's future for the first time in nearly two months.

She did a lot of work 'round here. More than anyone that's not an admin will ever know. This staff is now less without her and y'all have no idea how much I'll miss her being in a position of authority.

I'm not going to talk about replacements for a while. We'll worry about that later.

No denying she'll be missed. But no doubting that she - and a couple of other people around here - have had to put up with more crap than anyone should bear over the last few weeks.

^^^aye. Plus, I miss having actual discussions with her that weren't about the drama. We may be losing a really good member of the staff, but I think we're getting back a really good poster.

I was under the impression that this was a break, not a quit. As in a few months off from and then she'll be back. Am I wrong?

I sure as hell hope so. But, I don't know.

With Nick, I could have said for certain "you'll be back" (and I was right, the last time" ) Tamar... not so sure.
