Today has been pretty hot, even with being inside or driving most of the day, it's still been hot. I was talking with one of the guys at work. And he was saying with how hot today was, he wanted a lemonade and chicken sandwich from Chic-Fil-A. Which reminded me of a drink I like to make when it's hot like this. It's easy to make, four cans of beer, or with today, a can of Foster's and 1/2 can of frozen Limeade mix. I just pour the limeade into a beer stein, frozen, and then the beer. When I got home I had a bottled water, a carbonated water, and then a coke with lime. Still thirsty, made the beer and limeade drink, had a half of it, and now I'm not thirsty or feeling hot.
I’m confused. You mentioned beer, then said Foster’s, which as any Aussie will tell you, is not beer.
that said, I make sangria smoothies with cheap white wine and frozen fruit and have a bitchin' formula for a cosmo, so...
Michelob Ultra Lime & Prickly Pear Cactus is the ultimate hot day refreshment. Low cal, low carb and just enough alcohol. Too bad we can't get it in Canuckistan.
I'm more into ciders... Brickworks puts out a nice pear, but it's better in spring or fall I find. Really liking the Eden Grove apple though... not too tart, but doesn't taste like canned apple juice either.
