I've been cleaning out my computer and found some things I had written last year. Thought it was interesting, cause I've been trying to write things down lately...develop my writing some. I plan on traveling and writing, and have been playing guitar for almost 8 years as well as drums and plan on pursuing music... I have thoughts and ideas...just trying to find a way to express them. I don't know if I consider myself a poet, or a musician, or a photographer,...or any of the things I do...and I've barely shared with anyone, and never shown these...oh fuck it. These are my thoughts, I am not ashamed. tell me what you think. and they may not all be complete thoughts... these are the old, the more recent are in a notebook the NocturneO'VladJazz has in Indy, and I may continue to post. This is about a girl...we got together during our senior year making the musical West Side Story. Thus the title... 1950's Gang-Related Love Crimes Oh Maria, Did you care Or was it just a sensation For the moment, simply fleeting Did I touch you how you wanted In your heart, or in your bed Not sure what went on up there Even to this day I remember when we danced Watched you sing from the side of the stage Still as beautiful to this day Though we never ended A part of us died You were gone still locked inside Lying to yourself about the truth And I hear whispers on the wind Of how you’re doing now Lost in space, but finding out Love is more than just a feeling This was after one of my first experiences in a club last year, basically just an account. Clubbin' Ain't Easy The night is perfect If being deaf is your thing Cause the music is pumped up way too loud And I’m sitting here by myself when it happens This girl sat right next to me Told me I looked pissed That’s a funny way to start a conversation “no I’m just tired” She was working up a good drunk This her 20th birthday and all Great way to start a new year of your life Without memories After some small talk I ask her to dance Had to finish her drink, and watch her friend Another bottle down We ended up on the floor Her friend missing again She danced for a bit But something was off Ended up abandoning hope for people I knew Even good company can’t beat this noise They’ve all had their fill Just waiting for something to feel We find her again, our bottles in hand cigarette sounds nice she had herself another few rounds Pre-meds must not have time for fun Last few drops go down easy As we laugh at our future The rest of the group leaving Should just cash in and go Said my goodbyes Stole a last look around Made it out pretty clean Should have asked for her number Wonder if she’s alright Wonder if she remembers me Clubbin' ain't easy... I guess I just feel like sharing all kinds of stuff right now... here's a video of me messing around on guitar...nothing serious, nothing organized. and they'll be more to come...unless you really really hate it. Then I guess I can stop...but I hope that is not the case.
