Images on Wordforge

In the interest of everyone on the board, I think we should adopt this stand on images:

Anything more revealing than a bikini or bra and panties or anything implying sexual contact must be in a "NSFW" spoiler unless it's in The White Room.

It is the fairest stand for the board to take for the enjoyment of everyone, considering how many people are at work or school or simply do not want to see explicit materials. People who enjoy it, will have the White Room and the spoilered pics in other threads.

This, of course, means cleaner avatars. If you wouldn't see it on a billboard then you shouldn't show it here without warning.

Discuss.

No. We're not using copyrighted images for commercial purposed. At most, we hot-link some in single posts for comedic or other effect. Fair use.

Sometimes, I wonder if anyone reads these threads anymore.

I agree with Lanzman. There's no money being made on any images that get posted here (either hosted or hotlinked--Mmmmm...hotlinks...).

I like the avs and I think not showing naughty bits is a good enough rule.

Yeah, it sucks for some people to have to turn off avs when posting from work, but it'd also suck for me not to see this glorious image every time I read his posts, so there ya go.

If this does get made into a new rule, could we at least wait until we have a gallery? Pretty please?

It can be the same argument that was used when talking about rep comments for those in the red.

We are denying contributing and faithful members a portion of the board's functionality to make a small handful of people happy. It's going to go. The only issue is the wording.

Does Mrs. Flow's have to go too?
