There was a rather moving story about Harvey the Huricane Hawk. He simply must have been someone's pet hawk because he was so tame. Anyway a taxi driver left his door open while he was loading stuff into his car and a hawk flew into the car, hopped into the passenger seat and refused to leave. The hawk apparently wanted out of the wind and rain and was used to traveling in cars so thought it was a safe place. The hawk happily hopped onto his gloved hand while he fed it chicken livers and made some youtube videos. Eventually he was able to find an animal shelter which would take the abandoned pet hawk.
