The best way not to be influenced by advertising (which is purposely designed to encourage irrational and uninformed decisions) is to recognise that one is, and take steps to correct for it.

I feel bad for those who think that they're immune, and are apparently of the view that this multi-billion dollar industry exists for no reason.

"It used to be called Hawx Burger Bar and Electro-Lounge."

I would totally buy any CD that featured an artist/band that had LIVE FROM HAWX BURGER BAR AND ELECTRO-LOUNGE on the cover!

when I get sick & tired of relentless advertising I go for a drive in the wide open spaces. Speaking of "sick & tired" who do I call to sue somebody over that? Asking for a friend.....

bill1.jpg is that John Travolta in Battlefield Earth or what? bill2.jpg love his TV ads!

bill3.jpg those dogs are actual clients, not paid actors! bill4.jpg yes, an eye patch.....personal injury.....do the math!

The place I run on weekends keeps a flat price for everything (premium domestics and decent imports only)as our margin is always at least +200%. A tall can of domestic premium might cost us $0.50 more, but it beats the shame of selling Molson Canadian or Pabst Smear while being about the same cost to us as Holstens, Spaten, or Tyskie.
