Yep. She supported her mooch husband, cheated on him, and collected social security. She was Rorschach eating Nite Owl's beans.
I dunno if the cheating on her husband was necessarily at odds with her philosophy. True, she may have been in conflict with the contract of (presumed) marital monogamy. However is domestic indenture a valid transaction if the basis of law is free will? Can one voluntarily give up free agency-let alone assume control of someone else's? Or is this in the realm of "There's nothing in the rules of baseball saying an elephant can't pitch. So we're putting one in."
If she wanted to be a swinger, she shouldn't have gotten married. Is that binary thinking? Sure. But binary thinking was her thing. Just holding her to her standard.
Are Randians philosophically okay with exploiting tax breaks or social benefit they'd otherwise be unentitled to? I forget. Maybe the marriage was a form of that?
I'd love to answer the question but I couldn't make it through "Atlas Shrugged." What a boring and monotonous piece of shit that was. [YT="Atlas Shrugged by Officer Barbrady"]_j56IiLqZ9U[/YT]
