is there a way of installing mac OS with VMware in windows?

    anyone know if its possible? i don't want to shell out on a mac just to recompile and test software!

    You certainly can do it in VMWare, but I'm fairly certain that it was only with the x86 test build that was going around Bittorrent over a year and a half ago. Thus, it wouldn't be up to date at all, and not a reliable testbed for programs.

    Also, it was slow as fuck. I've done it, though. Do a Google search for the OSX86 Project.
