As has been said in the thread in question, Dayton kind of brings it on himself. But as I said, if this was someone at WF, they need to be gone.

MM needed some help with the Troll Kingdom server about a month and a half ago, I agreed to help. I haven't done anything since and have only logged on only once or twice, yet she's kept me on as an admin, go figure.

Ok, after the disappointing show with the last Shelter release we can't not get any drama with that revelation.

Has that been WF? I've had a shitty connection (thanks, 50 years worth of wiring and rewiring by AT&T) for the past month or so and I figured all the problems were on my end. I wasn't seeing any problems when on anyone else's connection.

It's been happening to me for the last few days.

And me, today.

I wish Dayton had contacted Elwood privately rather than starting a thread, but that said, it hasn't turned into a witch hunt, so maybe no harm done...

Absolutely unconscionable, IMO. Messing with someone's job because you don't like their political views...does it get any lower than that?

Oh...and does anyone else find it interesting how vehement Face seemed about getting Dayton to not ask his principal for more information?

I don't see Face as having done this, just doesn't seem his style.

I'd really prefer that we not try and guess suspects here, remember what happened with the disgruntled Wordforger thing?

I'm not accusing anyone. I just find it interesting.

For example...someone doesn't have to be guilty to know who is and want to help protect them.

Seems everyone agreed this was a fucked up thing to do and certainly enough to be banned.

Most everybody realizes the dangers of sharing too much personal info on-line and realize that nobody on Wordforge (staff or otherwise) can prevent somebody from being a jerk with said personal info.

But what makes a pleasant change is that this didn't turn into . Virtually everyone accepted that Henry was an unlikely suspect; Dayton got some good advice about online exposure - which he's chosen to ignore, but that's his business - and things went on their merry way.
I think that's a first for this place...
