    The Bible is a book of mythology. Mother Goose is a collection of children's stories. Culturally significant, even if the information they contain is not entirely factual.

    Yet if you asked me to refute that information, I could point to scientific observations showing the earth developing over billions of years, and the moon being composed of silica and other minerals. I don't just get to say, "Bible lol."

    A true thing doesn't become untrue if it appears in a source not to your liking.

    That's interesting. Because someone here recently told me that "When all you can do is bash the source, rather than refuting the content of the report, the only thing it proves is that you have no argument." So I guess you should get cracking on proving to me that the Earth wasn't created in 7 days and a cow didn't jump over a Moon that is made of green cheese. :)

    You fool, I said exactly the opposite. The 6 day creation can be shown to be wrong by examining the geological and fossil records. It's not wrong just because it appears in the Bible.

    The Bible contains factual information as well, for example Pontius Pilate was a Roman governor of Judaea. This also can be verified by checking contemporary records.

    And the Bible does not say the Earth was created in 7 days. It says God created heaven and Earth on the second day, after creating the universe on the first. Everything else was created over the course of the next 4 days. And on the 7th, God rested.

    In Trump news, New York governor Cuomo has announced the creation of special investigative unit for hate crimes, due to the drastic rise in such incidents over the past year, which the NYC police commissioner attributes to "election rhetoric."
