It's awfully quiet in these parts lately.

Okay, so I've noticed lately that this site is kind of quiet lately. Post statistics confirm this.

Last year, we had roughly 42000 posts in the month of January. This January, we had roughly 33000 posts, which translates to about a 20% decrease in posts.

Thoughts? Ideas on how to increase posting?

Here are my ideas:

Gallery, stat!
Improve the Arcade, this will be me and Clyde's job.

And finally, bring back a game like we use to have, I was thinking of bringing back that Black Nova Traders game, it was really popular and well liked.

It's always up and down and up and down...don't worry, it'll come back.

I wouldn't be so sure, we're on a 6 month decline right now.

Gallery please and thank you.

Gallery should be first priority, IMO.

I also think we should consider a second gallery for use when we open the Champagne Room, in order to keep the interesting pictures members only.

Arcade is a biggie too..having more and working games will be a big boon.

I'm ready to go with the Arcade, I've games ready to add right now. I've already deleted the games that don't work and have a list of other games that should go as we begin to add more games. It would only take a few minutes to make big improvements in the Arcade.

I just don't have access to upload files. But that shouldn't be a problem for Nick.

Nope, just send the games Nick's way and he'll handle the uploading.

O2C, I thought we discussed Clyde's permissions?

He should have ftp access and full v3 arcade admincp access.

But in this case it doesn't matter, I tried adding the games last night, and they wouldn't be recognized by the arcade, so I'm going to try updating the arcade software, we're at version 1.0 and it is up to version 1.0.6

I admit, my posting is down. I'm very busy at work these days as well as at home. But I show up from time to time.

As I've said before I'm willing to help setting up the Gallery, if only so I can have my old job looking at porn back.

Though the old gallery SUCKED to mod, almost to the point it was useless for me to be there. Mass move/edit/delete is needed in the Gallery, and didn't exist (at least at my level) before - good for nasty spam attacks and to help grant members their own galleries.

We did, and I set it up just so... hmm..
