Yes, it is sad when people's constitutional rights are being removed while government winks and nods. The fact is objectionable speech is the only type of speech which needs protections. NPR had an excellent piece on this yesterday as well as how a constitutional group is suing the city of Boston on behalf of the free speech protesters who had their rights abridged. That one city council member who lied and tried to incite violence is a complete shit stain who belongs in prison.
Then if corporations are people, and money is speech, and Republicans think that's lovely, and therefore aren't offended, then they need less protection, and Citizen's United needs to go.
I am pretty sure most people here would like to see the horrible citizens united case over turned. It is a horrible travisty of justice and based entirely upon faulty and untrue assumptions. WTF this has to do with the point vrought up in the OP is something only you seem to know.
What the flyer says is that free speech is the "rallying cry" for terrorism, not that speech itself is terrorism. And it is absolutely correct that incitements to violence are not and never have been protected speech.
Oh, that hurts me. The Charles F. Adams class was my first love. The last steam turbine DD's built by the USN.
I will say, it took a great deal more to sink the Adams', than it did to sink any other destroyer of equivalent era. Very well built ships, and some of the best looking ships of their generation.
