Had this on in the background while working and didn't feel like looking for the remote. What an abortion. This thing makes Spock's Brain look good. "Dress warmly on those other planes of existence"? Sorry for the rant but this is one of the worst TNG eps ever, and that's saying something.

    Very cringe-worthy episode.

If Wesley represents the next phase in the evolution of humanity, I say end it all now.

Originally I liked the traveler story arc, but looking at it again recently, I hate it. then it made no sense for Wesley to be in starfleet in the movies. I liked the sub-plot with the Native Americans and how Picard's ancestor had treated them in the past. That should have been the main plot and it had potential.

I thought it was ridiculous that Picard should atone for the sins of his ancestors. How does that even work? Maybe Picard had an advantage that gave him the ability to succeed, one conferred upon him by the conditions generated by his ancestors taking advantage of Native Americans. At some point, however, you can't hold a child responsible for the sins of his many-generations removed "father," and you have to let the past be the past. :)

Still, it was more interesting than Wesley’s story.

That was when reparations was really popular at the time.

Wesley's character was pretty useless throughout the series. The academy episodes were good though.

Agree, the Academy episodes was where the character actually was likable. They should have just stuck with that.
