Pretty much. I'm still recovering from this past weekend. And the weekend before. Shit summer has been pretty crazy. I might even get hammered next weekend too. Just sipping on the Gibsons cause its so fucking good. Smoothest shit around.
Yeah, we don't get much Canaaaayyyyyydian Royal Kilted Whiskey down this way. Crown Royal and LTD are the only two I can even name.
Canadian whiskey? Anyway, I get my Bulleit at Trader Joe's for 20 bucks/ bottle. And their Rye is inferior to their standard Bourbon. I have a bottle of theirs in my Globe Decanter in my frou frou lawyer room.
What's a good Canaaaaayyyyyyyyyjiun Roy-yul Kil-ted Rye whiskey? I've had Crown Royal and that's stuff's not too bad. Are there other names I could oughta look for that maybe I just haven't noticed yet?
Crown Royal is disgusting. Why they make that shit is beyond me. Wisers, Canadian Club, Black Label. I honestly don't experiment beyond Gibson. No reason too.
That's some vetting right there, but I can't find it anywhere around here. Ever tried Pendleton? Looks like that's about the most top-shelf offering I can get my hands on, and I wouldn't mind giving it a try based on the reviews so far. EDIT: Okay, found a few Canadian Club offerings listed as being at the local BevMo. Holy crap is that stuff inexpensive!
I don't really drink Canadian Club. Honestly couldn't give you a good review. Black Label is okay, not as smooth as Gibson. Wisers has a lot of different kinds. My 2nd best choice. Pretty good price too. If I'm not drinking Gibsons, I usually stick to Jack or Jim, unless beer is around. I'm pretty fussy about what I drink.
Yeah, BevMo won't even ship Gibson's here. So far my top three are Bulleit, Knob Creek Single Barrel Reserve and Maker's 46. If I had to let it out for a top five, the last two would be Wild Turkey 101 and Old Grand Dad. And of course the list shifts around a bit depending on how I plan to go about the drinkin'.
Yeah, they are. When it comes to other kinds of hooch, I have totally different favorites. Rum: Pyrat. Gin: Bombay Sapphire. I don't really have a favorite brand of vodka.
