I'm getting tired of being called a flying monkey, Jenemet, minimet and various other names because certain people can't figure out that there's an entire world out there that have a million differnent opinions on a million different subjects; and that just because I don't agree with a certain view that seems to be predominant on this board, then I must be getting my opinions from garamet.

Why not just make it a board rule for everyone to only use a poster's username and be done with it.

A picture was posted with his name in the background. He knew full well it was there, whether consciously or otherwise. Therefore it's been held out to the public in a similar manner.

The irony being Aurora was all over me about posting a link to Actormike's LiveJournal he had in his signature at TBBS and the resulting brew-haha about personal information. These rules stemmed from some of these very same people's outrage then.

That said this whole episode is just a tag team event between Garamet and Aurora. Garamet plays little miss innocent and Aurora plays the heavy.

If any poster wants to play some sort of little Pakled game of "I Ar Postin Yur RL Name..." again and again and again and again and again...it doesn't do *me* any harm, and it can only enhance his credibility as a poster to be taken seriously.

It is standard procedure on most boards, and most posters are capable of enough civility, regardless of how heated the discussion may get, to abide by it.

Those who resort to this sort of silliness might as well carry a big sign that says "I R Packled. No can have disKUSShun, must call names."

If that's their sole talent, they should be encouraged to express it.
