No, and there are plenty of people here who aren't adults.

It's why we have..had.. a White Room.

Not everyone is in the privacy of their own homes, ya know. Jobs, libraries, schools...none of them appreciate nudity on their computers.

And until we can turn off individual avatars, people shouldn't be deprived of a function because a couple of people can't control the desire to see some tits in every post they make or are that desperate for rep.

Elwood's call, but all of Mr. Plow's looked okay to me. Justlee's, not so much. I think posters should be able to reasonably expect to browse without seeing actual nudity unless spoilered or in the white room. I also think there are just as many people who like the sexy avs like Mr. Plow's/Face's as there are people who wish all avs were completely work safe. If your office is that conservative or you are scared of being caught, you can always turn the avs off, IMO.

Should I have PMd him? I saw it right away, but I didn't want to step on any toes, and he really doesn't have to listen to me anyway, so I just made the thread in here. Let me know if us regular mods should act on stuff like this or just let ya'll know so you can deal with it.

You did the right thing.

Sometimes people can be belligerent no matter how nicely you approach them about an issue like that and as a moderator you shouldn't have to deal with that abuse unless it's in your forum.

You could gently remind them it's against policy and they might want to change it before a Supermod or Administrator notices it, if you are so inclined, if not, that's okay too.
