By the way, that claim that he opposed the war is of course complete bullshit. The man is the gturner of politics, incapable of telling the truth.

Yet he is correct. Obama and Hillary created the conditions for the rise of ISIS, then supported ISIS, then shipped weapons to ISIS, and kept feeding weapons to ISIS. Obama came within a hair of having the US Air Force provide air support for ISIS.

They still insist that ISIS's enemy is our enemy, and spend billions trying to topple Assad, who is fighting ISIS. They also refuse to give significant weapons or support to the Kurds because the Kurds are the most effective enemy of ISIS.

ISIS existed before Obama became President.

All lies. There are much more subtle arguments that might be used here about the overall strategy in Syria and how it indirectly assists ISIS, but idiots like you (or Donald Trump) are incapable of making it out of dishonesty, ignorance or both.

Yes, and US intelligence estimated it was down to about 30 fighters when Obama took office. Now it has tens of thousands and has gone global.

The chief causes of its rise are that Obama and Hillary withdrew all US troops from Iraq, created a vacuum and letting Iraq's Shia dominated government abuse Iraq Sunnis, and their ardent moral and material support for the Arab Spring. They followed that up with shipping arms to ISIS and other Syrian rebel groups that handed any arms they had to ISIS. Gulf states paid tens of millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation to make sure we sided with ISIS and against Assad. We didn't even bomb key ISIS positions, nor did we bomb ISIS's massive oil infrastructure. Putin had to do that, and did so right in Obama's face. We also refused to arm the Kurds, almost certainly at the behest of Erdogan, Obama closest ally in the region and his key adviser in the Iran negotiations.

Then it did exist, and you admit that you are lying.

They did not ship arms to ISIS, there were no bribes to side with ISIS. Those are lies. The rest is arguable.
    Stop lying.

More lies and spin. ISIS was born out of AL-Qaeda in Iraq, which was not 30 or so fighters, and which rose to prominence as a result of the invasion of Iraq.

I really do find this whole "ISIS is Obama's fault" shtick to be utterly ridiculous because without the instability created by the Iraq invasions these groups would not have grown. It's like spilling red wine on a cream carpet and then shouting at the cleaner for not getting rid of the stain well enough.

Al-Qaeda in Iraq was utterly defeated by Bush's surge, a move which Democrats vehemently opposed, including Obama, who said:

"I cannot in good conscience support this plan (troop surge). As I first said two months ago, we should not be sending more U.S. troops to Iraq, we should begin redeploying them to let the Iraqis know that we will not be there forever and to pressure the Sunnis, Shiites, and Kurds to finally reach a political settlement...Escalation is a failed policy opposed by generals, Democrats and Republicans, and now even the Iraqis themselves, and the fact that the President is already moving ahead with this idea is a terrible consequence of the decision to give him the broad, open-ended authority to wage this war in 2002." B. Obama - moron who fostered ISIS into a global threat.

    From the BBC

US says 80% of al-Qaeda leaders in Iraq removed
About 80% of al-Qaeda's leaders in Iraq have been captured or killed during the past three months, says the country's top US commander.

Only eight of the group's 42 chiefs in Iraq remained at large, Gen Ray Odierno told a Pentagon news conference.

But he cautioned against complacency, saying that, even with the setbacks, al-Qaeda was trying to regroup and would remain a problem for years.

"I will never take my eyes off of al-Qaeda," said the general.

Well, he did take his eyes off al-Qaeda because Obama made him leave Iraq. The result was utterly predictable as Obama snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Odierno left the military and runs an airline now.

In his absence, Obama's promoted cronies and yes-men who cooked the intelligence reports.

ISIS Intel Was Cooked, House Panel Finds
A leading U.S. general pressured his intelligence analysts into playing down the ISIS and al Qaeda threats, according to a congressional task force.

If ISIS managed to put one of their own operatives into the Oval Office, how would we tell? It wouldn't be any different.

Not surprisingly, that article, despite its worst intentions, doesn't say what gturner claims. It's written by somebody smart enough not to lie out right, but who also in doing so doesn't actually say anything, other than that the US sent arms to Syrian rebels via Qatar. The author and Asange try real hard to imply that ISIS was an intended recipient, but does not actually provide evidence of that, nor that ISIS ever even saw those weapons.

ISIS has the weapons. They brag about it constantly. They never pass up an opportunity to rub our faces in it. Conservatives have been pointing this out for years, but the left has insisted on sending more weapons to ISIS, perhaps because the Clinton Foundation makes a ton of money on every sale.

It was the effect of Bush's surge. The following year Obama ignorantly withdrew all US troops from Iraq despite Bush's warning that it would be a grave mistake that would quickly cause chaos and collapse. It did.

The eight remaining leaders of al-Qaeda in Iraq quickly took advantage of the US absence, regrouped, and started sending forces into Syria. Then they started getting weapons from Hillary, sent from Libya via Turkey.

    and don't miss:

DECLASSIFIED DOCS: HILLARY AIDED RISE OF ISIS
Confirm reports of U.S. arming Middle East jihadists

More than 100 pages of previously classified Department of Defense and Department of State documents implicate the Obama administration in a cover-up to obscure the role Hillary Clinton and the State Department played in the rise of ISIS.

The documents were obtained in a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed by the Washington watchdog Judicial Watch.

They confirm WND reporting over the past three years of evidence that U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens was involved in shipping weapons from Benghazi to support the al-Qaida-affiliated militias fighting the Bashar al-Assad regime in Syria, effectively arming the Sunni jihadists who morphed into ISIS.

She also managed to give ISIS $400 million dollars. But don't worry. A lot of it surely got kicked back to the Clinton Foundation.

I don't see where they even do that. The allegation is that some weapons ended up with ISIS, not that they were supplied to ISIS.

We sent 3,000 tons of weapons to al-Nusra, so we were almost certainly supplying ISIS too.

    Jane's Defense Weekly

US arms shipment to Syrian rebels detailed

    The list includes:

    134.188 tonnes of 7.62x39 ammunition (AK-47)
67.404 tonnes of 7.62x54 ammunition (Soviet PK machine gun ammunition. Their equivalent to the Browning .30 or M-60)
118.181 tonnes of 12.7x108mm ammunition (DShK heavy machine gun, equivalent to the Browning .50)
    369.681 tonnes of 14.5mm ammunition
53 tonnes of 82mm mortar ammunition
    4.12 tonnes of RPGs.
    21.69 tonnes of 9M111M Factoria guided duel-warhead anti-tank missiles
Plus AK-47's, PKM machine guns, Factoria ATGM launchers, etc.

Sent by the US military sea lift command, with dates and ports listed.

In return the Gulf States gave a fuck ton of money to the Clinton Foundation.

We supported one side, and that support is well documented, therefore we almost definitely also supported one of their sworn enemies, even though there is no documentation of that at all?

I hate to say it, but that's so crazy it's actually still got some marginal entertainment value. But please don't let that encourage you, because it's fading fast.

See, supplying Al Nusra is bad enough, and potentially damaging enough. But you literally can't confine yourself to reality.
