    I’m still pissed about Toys’R’Us who when they had been fully busted out by venture capital had the same number of employees as the ENTIRE US Coal Industry but as they were majority brown and/or women didn’t get quite the same reaction.

    The American radio industry was looted/plundered/ransacked/strip mined by the likes of Clear Channel and Cumulus. The fewer people there were at the bottom (and the less they were paid) the more money the people at the top made. What used to be a thriving industry that provided great entertainment while "serving the public interest" and employing lots of people now does none of the above :brood:
