I'm not sure whether to be more disturbed that I can't even recall the details of that little dust up, or that someone else DOES remember.
Several weeks ago I went back and pruned every account that had not been logged into for 6+ months. I thought I hand selected everyone with 1,000+ posts, but I must have missed his.
Considering how long he has posted here, and the fact he has only been gone less than five months, any way you can go to an old backup and reinstate him? I know I'd be kinda pissed to come back from an absence to find my account deleted.
Yuppers. Seemed easier just to reregister with really big hints than get the account reactivated, and I don't like, or particularly rate, an "I'm back!" thread. Of course that means Flashlight's been able to neg just about every post I've made . . .
Nah--78 negs, all from him. He stopped when I hit red, but that took a healthy majority of my posts. No big deal, but I do like to see a green pip there if only so that there's no confusion about my own rep comments.

Eh. Sometimes I think retiring an old username isn't such a bad idea (which is partly why I've held off bumping this thread, but it seems to keep bumping sooo...). Liet had gotten to be a bit of a 2D caricature--shrill and whiny. When Storm would go on hiatus he'd calm down a bit and actually become fun to talk to/debate. But then Storm would return and get him all spun up. Jeriko was sort of the same, only on the other end of the spectrum. I actually enjoy the "new and improved" versions of both (although I do miss the old ones. They should get drug out for Halloween/April Fool's day).
