Why did you close El Chup's thread in the red room.

If you have to ask, you haven't been listening to Elwood when he's told us to keep that kind of discussion out of Red Room.

Sigh...there was no reason to do that though, he was asking what it meant, he wasn't arguing over the warning.

Yes, and it was asked, answered, and therefore closed. According to policy.

Or did you think Elwood was kidding when he said he wanted that stuff in Help Desk rather than Red Room?

As far as I know, Elwood wants policy discussion in the Help Desk only...unless he has eased up his stance. He hasn't mentioned it to me if he has though.

I'm sure he will comment when he sees this. :)

El Chu asked what it meant. The next logical step was to ask why/complain about being warned. Discussion of warnings belongs in three places. Our PM/e-mail inboxes, here, and The Help Desk.

I would have just moved the thread, but I'm not going to get bent out of shape over the thread closings.

Judging from what was said by El Chup, however, it looked like he was wanting to start a policy trolling bitchfest, which, with it being asked and answered, I tended toward the clang rather than a move.
