Fair point. And I suppose they could also "Dude" him when he's in He-Man form. It always tickled me that in the old cartoon the only apparent difference between Prince Adam and He-Man was the clothing. If he physically transforms into He-Man, it would make it more believable. It's always going to require a suspension of disbelief that no one seems to notice Clark Kent is built like an NFL linebacker.
There’s this thing you can do to improve your overall physique, build your muscle and muscle mass and get really cut and fit. It’s called working out Haircuts are a thing too I’m told
Posture and an ill fitting suit can hide a lot. Whenever I'm at a weight that's between sizes, my figure looks very different depending on if I'm wearing clothing that's a bit too too loose or a bit too tight.
Nicholas Galitzine is He-Man. Camila Mendes is Teela. Alison Brie is Evil-Lyn. https://www.darkhorizons.com/alison-brie-is-evil-lyn-in-live-action-he-man/ *Googles Nicholas Galitzine* Yeah, he's kinda got that Dolph Lundgren jawline and mouth. I can see it. Camila Mendes is a hottie, and I'll easily buy her as an alt-universe Teela; but if they wanted to be toy-perfect, they need to find a young lookalike/soundalike for Nana Visitor. *Sees a pic with Alison Brie with full snark-face* She's perfect.
could we please stop letting Jared Leto be in movies? I don't care who he sucks off or how well. Anyways, this Galitzine guy should be able to bulk up easy enough... at least enough to contrast with 1990 Lundgren's proportions
So... Hook, but with He-Man. Not the worst idea necessarily. He-Man can be Starlord-type relatable while everyone else can go full ham and cheese with their roles.
Morena Baccarin is Sorceress. Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson is Fisto. https://www.darkhorizons.com/two-more-set-for-masters-of-the-universe/
You know, back in the 80s, you could accept that most folks wouldn't get the connotations of the name "Fisto," but in the 21st Century?
Jon Xue Zhang is Ram-Man. https://www.darkhorizons.com/masters-of-the-universe-casts-its-ram-man/ Ram-Man had the dumbest power ever. He battering rammed things with his head. His power was literally to concuss his brain into pudding, and then murder his family at 45. This character didn't age well if you...y'know, ever watched the news.
Looks like they're going for toy accurate with the look of everything. But I wonder how the tone will go. Full hippie pacifist He-Man (with a breaking inanimate objects loophole) from the Filmation cartoon. Or, Conan He-Man from the mini-comics with the first wave of figures. The '87 movie kind of split the difference.
