About how long does it take you to do one strip like the above? Start to finish?

Well, the comic updates every two weeks, but I only spend about a week of it working on the comic for roughly three hours after work every day. Roughly twenty-one hours, then. Most of that is the sketch work for more detailed backgrounds, like that second panel's interior shot. A lot of time is dedicated to thinking in that phase.
