Eating brown eggs I can understand. But paying more for them? That's just begging to be conned and deserving of being conned.

We get them both around here. Always the same price. I've noticed that brown eggs taste better sometimes, though. It's hard to tell if you get them from a grocery store, but I do sometimes buy eggs from a local farm which are brown and they definitely taste better. They're cheaper too. I have a feeling that's just because they're fresh eggs.

Ive seen people like that around here. They think because God gives them there crops, and they pray for a good harvest; that they have to keep christians on staff to make the place more "holy"

Egg coloring depends on what you feed the chickens.

The default color is white...because calcium is white. Any impurities in that calcium will color the shell.

I use brown eggs. Their thicker shells make them easier to crack (no little pieces). I can crack a brown egg one-handed.
