Thanks for joining us. A while back I posted something about Egypt. Specifically something pertaining to their racial makeup. There's a book with its own theories as to the who/what/how. Instead of simply linking to the book, I copied and pasted what was written. I think people were more receptive to it than if I had simply linked to the book (available in its entirety on the 'net). http://www.white-history.com/ There are no burning crosses or swastika banners on the site. But people who are not mature enough to see certain topics discussed from an alternate perspective should not participate. That being said, here's a random example of what it looks like: The book covers a wide range of topics but it's essentially a history book. There is a lot of interesting stuff in it which I have no doubt some of you will find worth reading, if the previous responses to its content are anything to go on. Enjoy.
Meanwhile, I think you need to be committed. Cleopatra is "Rome" was the most dog-ugly "hot" chick I have ever seen.
Dude, are you nuts? She was hot as all get out. Nice bod and that whole sexy minx attitude! Sure, she wasn't in the same league as Mrs. Vorenus, but still she was far and away the hottest Gyppie in that show.
That has nothing to do with the thread. If it's distasteful to you, don't post in it. If you aren't mature enough to participate then ignore it.
Liet: She must have had SOMETHING going for her - I don't think either Julius Caesar or Mark Anthony would have been so easily swayed by womanly wiles employed by any normal woman. Maybe she could suck the chrome off a bumper...
beauty is very much a cultural thing, different attributes attracting different values. and when you add power into the mix...
Perhaps Cleopatra was a stunner back in those days. I heard Europeans used to like their woman really plump.
I am not being a control freak. You are attempting to derail this thread with some pasta-like gamble trolling, POTN. Please stop.
It's funny that whites are considered more beautiful than others the world over. If you like I can dig up stats. Sorry to put forth such a controversial statement without immediate backup.
I haven't said a word about pasta. That was invented by the Chinese and brought to Europe by Marco Polo. We were talking about the hotness of Egyptians.
See, I think that's totally changing. While Vanna White and Christie Brinkley used to be the superbabe norm, nowadays it's all about Jessica Alba, Ana Beatriz Barros, Adriana Lima, and Yamila Diaz-Rahi, etc.... The "All-American Girl" and "Nordic Goddess" are on the decline in popularity as a whole, and more "exotic" lookers are in more demand. (Not that I'd kick ANY of them out of bed, mind you!)
Yeah, but what WOULD you kick out of bed? [action=Liet]prays that Nautica does not reply with pictures.[/action]
While it is certainly true in a general sense that lighter skin is often perceived as more desirable among many societies which consist mostly of people of color, there's no reason to assume this current state of affairs reflects an innate universal value. I would posit that it is the result of whiteness being nearly synonymous with power, wealth, and prestige, as in those regions affected by European colonialism. It would be interesting to see how far back these predilections go, but alas I fear we shall never have the necessary data.
I thought you were pulling MY leg at first, now I'm starting to get the idea that you're serious, and it kinda scares me.
Someone once told me that Cleopatra was Jewish So.. I got an "F" in History, how am I supposed to know
