http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/7030170.stm A shame an Olympic legend has turned out to be a fraud. But not surprising, athletics is probably the dirtiest sport around when it comes to steroid abuse.
Well, that only goes to show that you NEVER get punished for doing wrong, you only get punished for GETTING CAUGHT!
Explain the use of "fact" and "need" in that sentence. Also explain how we go about getting rid of certain sports Rapey.
It's a fact that we need to do it. And I didn't say sports, I said professional sports/athletics competitions.
What? That the continued existence of professional sports and athletics competitions hurts our country and our youth?
Yup, that was it. I think professional is okay. I just think that there needs to be an "extra" league for those who feel the need to do steroids/EPO/etc. That way we could watch them destroy themselves in a matter of years and learn a true lesson.
Its a shame when someone like this who young people look up to reinforces the old stereotypes about blacks and drugs
A lot. Sponsorships, speaking engagements, royalties from their image on things like cereal boxes and such.
