Yeah, Azazel is also the name of a mythical demon, but I just thought it was his mutant codename. Guess I was wrong. Azazel ash-ing settles that. But that means, Nightcrawler isn't just a mutant, he's half-demon. Some Dracula vs Alucard shit going on there.
Well, okay. I wouldn't be opposed to that either. But that's not a way to introduce Blade as an ongoing character in the MCU.
From the mcu wiki: Using his powers, Azazel fought Blade, successfully avoiding all his attacks. However, Blade was eventually able to catch on to Azazel's teleporting, and stabbed him. However, Azazel teleported at the last second and started fighting Gambit until he eventually died in battle.
It'll never happen, but it would be cool to do an "Old Man Logan" story that encompasses all the older Marvel films. Brn Affleck as Daredevil. Ioan Gruffud as Mr. Fantastic. Eric Bana as Hulk. Halle Berry as Storm. Wesley Snipes as Blade. Toby Maguire as Spider-Man. Nicolas Cage as Ghost Rider. Thomas Jane as Punisher. A bunch of heroes at the end of their run, facing off against the end of the world. Could be fun.
Man, the trailer for for Civil War came up when i was on YouTube……made me think how stoked I used to be for Marvel movies Pretty meh these days
I saw "Venom The Last Dance" yesterday at an AMC movie theater in my community. "Venom The Last Dance" was a nifty fun exciting adventurous romp Marvel comic book flick! I've NEVER seen the first 2 Venom flicks. Do I endorse "Venom The Last Dance" for folks to go see in the movie theater on a HUGE SCREEN? ABSOLUTELY!
Unless Trump fascism stomps out Disney. If there's a world in 2026, then yeah, Spidey 4. I dunno why people are even making plans that far out, but whatever....
And now we are faced with the cons of recording actors to play out story characters. They grow old and they die. Wolverine/Logan/James Howlett has regenerative abilities. Which would, by default, include cells. There’s no need for storylines to include a ‘reason for aging’. The audience just needs to grow the fuck up and accept that actors are not characters.
Sydney Sweeney says she had to do "Madame Web" to get "Anyone But You" greenlit by Sony. Well, it's better than having to blow Harvey Weinstein.
Bought the Deadpool and Wolverine UHD today. Plus that Wolverine DiGiorno pizza. Then I told my wife we are watching D&W tonight, since she never saw it. Let me tell you how thrilled she's not.
I tried two of the DiGiorno D&W pizzas. Can't remember which ones (there are four with different toppings, I think) but they sucked. Tasted like... frozen pizza.
I'll tell you this: with 4 children, I have learned to love ANYTHING I can just take out of a package and throw in the oven for dinner. I can give you a Michelin Guide quality review of just about every frozen pizza you can get in America.
Ended up holding off on D&W because our 10 year old wanted to join us. So we watched Five Nights At Freddy's instead. Did eat the pizza though. Toppings were good, but the crust was shit.
DiGiorno is the hapless puppet of Nestle and they have done some really shit stuff when it comes to frozen pizza. Some years back they decided that cinnamon was a good ingredient to use in their tomato sauce. I am not prepared to say that you can't use cinnamon in your tomato sauce, however, the way they did it was verging on a war crime. It must have been hugely unpopular as some months later, I saw that they were advertising "Original Recipe" on their pizzas, meaning that they'd switched back to the non-cinnamon tomato sauce. The most recent time I saw the D&W pizzas, I was going to get one to try, but I could tell from the way the box felt that it hadn't been handled properly (meaning that it had been allowed to thaw and refreeze, and WTF knows how long it had been thawed), so I just skipped it.
