I have gotten bored with the whole thought of treadmill for 15 min, stationary bike for 30 min, blah blah blah. So I started giving my self stupid mental goals, not based upon time. For example. my cardio this week was Stairmaster... and instead of a set time I decided to step the same amount as the Empire States building (1680 steps). I was so bent out of shape to reach the top of this imaginary staircase, I never noticed I was on there for 40 min As stupid as it may sound...it actually worked Now I just gotta master going back down too Does anybody else play stupid mind-games while working out?
