You reported Nick's post, politely asking you to stop reporting posts that aren't violations with "No" as the reason.

That is not a legitimate use of "Report Post." Trolling the staff by wasting our time and spamming our mail with abusing a board function is not on. It's under common sense.

You continue doing it after two Admins have asked you to please not abuse the function and you will earn a warning.

I recommend a warning for face. That's a clear abuse of the system, and is an obvious attempt to troll admins.

First of all Nick's post was NOT POLITE. He was basically telling me to not use the report post option simply because he disagreed with me. I don't mind the mods disagreeing with me. He could have left it at...well...nothing. He didn't need to do anything.

No, I was telling you that because about 40% of all reported posts come from you, and a large percentage of them aren't actual problems. Especially in this case, it was the first negrep Uncle Albert gave you in 4 days, hardly rep warring outside of the red room.

But, I asked you nicely to stop, not to stop using it altogether, but to stop spamming it. A legitimate use is fine, which you have done before, but you trying to get Uncle Albert in trouble is not, and neither is reporting the post where I told you not to spam it.

Each warning is worth 5 pts. I believe. And I think a friendly warning is worth two.

So once you get the 5, you have to try something that won't get you another warning, but just a friendly. It's the two point conversion, Wordforge-style.

No, each full warning is supposed to be worth 3 points, unless someone screws it up, and then it's worth 0. I've fixed that though, so from now on they will all be worth 3

A friendly warning is worth 1 point, but doesn't count towards a ban.

It takes 15 points (5 full warnings) to get a ban.

The second report is clearly trolling.

You reported Nick for asking you to stop with the reason listed as "No." That is not on. And abusing the report system to take a shot at Nick.

If you do domething of that nature again, you'll get a warning. I am trying to be nice since we have never had this situation before by letting this incident go with a verbal admonishment.

Reporting an actual problem is not the issue and of course is not abuse.

That's wonderful, Nick, so long as we're on the topic that Listkeeper overreacted and didn't show me the same consideration you and Tamar have shown Face, and that it's on record.

While we're on it, it might do good to amend some guidelines somewhere to state that defying any staff member, no matter how wrong he or she is, is worth 1/5th of a ban.

If you have a problem with your warning or a policy, you need to PM Elwood. It is not my place to comment on Listkeeper's decisions.
