there is literally NO ONE (except a few media dolts) focused solely or even primarily on the Russia Connection. No Dem candidate is running on it (except maybe Swalwell who hasn't officially gotten in) and the Oversight people in Congress have a long long list of things they are investigating.
Personally, I'll reserve judgement until we have a report that is not filtered through a political appointee who literally applied for the job by stating the conclusion he would reach months before he saw the report. There's a reason this specific AG was appointed. Whatever the report says, I have no beef with Mueller - partly because I find it likely that Barr's stated views muzzled what he was able to conclude - but I have nothing but suspicion for Barr. IMO, A lot of folks in the GOP and the media are out on a limb right now with very little justification for being there.
Disappointing, actually. One person I thought was highly intelligent albeit misguided has irrevocably proven himself to be a moron.
Few people are interested in the actual report. Most people will attempt to twist reality to support what they want to believe. But one individual I thought was above such subhuman-level thinking is nothing more than a snake-oil salesman, just like the man he hates so much.
I've been out of the loop but if I understand NBC correctly they are reporting Trump is completely exonerated even though nobody at NBC has read the actual report. No wonder a journalism degree is easier to get than a general studies degree.
The public has a right to know. We did pay for it. CNN and FoxNews was saying he wasn’t exonerated. I got the implication that there might be some evidence of something happening but not enough to really prove anything.
Interestingly (but not surprisingly), @Soma's usual schtick is to shoot the messenger without ever committing to a stance of his own. Is that your alibi?
Most of the Dem candidates seem to be doing the smart thing and focusing on what policies they think should be put in place. Not only does it give people a reason to vote for them (rather than them running on a Not-Trump platform) it will drive Trump insane as the primary campaign jumps into full swing if their debates are barely mentioning him.
Polls show around 90% of Americans want the full report made public. That is very, very far from "few people".
All parts of the report that can be released should be released. Trump should also declassify everything else that’s not in the report and just fucking bury the Democrats and Obama’s administration. Start with the FISA documents that were fabrications. The American people would love to see just what Obama’s FBI and DOJ were actually doing in 2015/2016. Why they were spying on Trump and his campaign. Also Obama needs to answer for it as well. And hell yeah Hillary needs to answer for the Christopher Steele document that actually wasn’t 100% written by him and she paid for. President Trump on the off chance you read this just let it all out. Let the public see Mueller's report and everything else!
Of course people want the full report made public. The point I was making is that people will simply make up their own conclusions about what the report says regardless of what it actually says. People like Packard are convinced Trump is guilty in spite of the lack of evidence because to believe otherwise undermines everything they believe in. It's sad and pathetic.
Given that no one has read the report, I would say that much of this speculation is just so much pud pulling.
I have to ask, what the fuck are you on, and where can I get some of that shit. I have gone to fantasy land before, but you are full on roaming in the complete imaginary. I would suggest changing the station and listening to something more happy and soothing, but damn that is some fucked up space cadet shit right there.
