Note: I'm not saying the guilty plea will be removed. Only that he will probably have an opportunity to ask the court to remove it. Something one doesn't normally get. This judge could still rule against him. Plus removing a guilty plea has never really been decided on by SCOTUS. The lower courts are split on it so even if the plea was withdrawn Mueller may appeal it through the courts and SCOTUS will have to make a final say on it. We will see.
Yeah, but 20 years ago we also thought Limp Bizkit was a great band, and the internet was going to bring people together.
Political theatre at its finest. You don't hear the Dems talk about "collusion" anymore because there's no evidence of it. You don't hear about "hacking" anymore because there's no evidence that anything was hacked other than the DNC's voicemails and/or emails, which would have been meaningless if it hadn't exposed their slimy attempts to sabotage Bernie. So now the story is that an army of Russian trolls flooded the internet with "derp" in an attempt to destabilize the country. What, the CIA didn't call John and Anc to implement global "discouragement?" Never mind that both major parties have for decades been engaging in the same behavior the Russian troll army is accused of - using inflammatory wedge issues to divide Americans, demonizing the opposition, questioning the patriotism of those on the other side of the aisle, playing on people's fears. All of that and more is part and parcel of the American political system.
Tge Russians will often take extreme positions on both sides in order to try to stir up conflict and dysfunction but the vast majority has been supportive of Trump and the Republicans. Their current #1 trending bot meme is pro-guns, the second amendment, and supportive of the NRA. Putin likes to point to the numerous mass shootings in the US especially in schools as an anti-American talking point for his domestic audiences. They usually start with a fairly main stream trenching topic like the recent school shooting but slowly up the crazy until tgey are adding conspiracy theories (right now they are adding the hashtag #false flag) to most of their bot posts and they also like to pepper tgeir posts with non related Russia propaganda talking points which are regularly updated. It is a classic information operations method which goes way back.
Yeah, remember when everyone agreed that Russians were awful and a threat to the world? Before some people became spineless bootlicking cowards and think Russians are fine now because of partisan politics?
Is it? I thought it was more like "amused" given all the declarations of "Love Trumps Hate" and "elections can't be rigged" and "Whoever doesn't accept the results of the election is a threat to democracy"
I indeed remember when Obama gave Romney shit over thinking Russia was a threat before this new Red Scare started.
Can you offer even one shred of proof for your assertion that pro-2nd amendment posts are being written by Russians?
Yeah, but Obama's whole "reset" with Russia was when Medvedev was president, not Putin. Obama thought he could work with the former because he isn't a hard liner.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.wi...ots-flood-twitter-after-parkland-shooting/amp There is one and there are many more out there. NPR covered this this morning. There are numerous groups which track Russian government online propaganda efforts and what messages they are spreading.
https://www.axios.com/jared-kushner...nce-f686a4f0-8166-42c2-888c-7d4bdecbf2ed.html Kelly wants Kushner's interim security clearance pulled along with everyone else who cannot pass tge background check but Kushner is resisting.
You must have missed Fox News screaming about treason and coups by the deep state. Or you're doing your best to ignore anything that challenges your worldview, as is your way.
Kushner is currently a target of investigation by Mueller, Kushner also got caught trying to walk out of tge Russian embassy with Russian encrypted communications gear, so info about Kushner not getting a security clearance and possibly being forced out of an official role in the White House because of that seems like relavent backgrpund information. Maybe it is just me though.
Then perhaps you'd be better off doing some basic research before commenting on things you apparently know nothing about?
This may come as a shock to you, but conservatives do not consist only of the variety that work on Fox News, so my statement is correct.
No, YOU thought Bizkit was a great band. I never heard of em. Let's be clear on that. And the internet did bring people together, at least for one night at a time.
Yes, what the Russians are doing is dividing the country by promoting extremist elements on both sides. It was only one of those sides that actively sought their assistance, and which has been desperately trying to obstruct the investigations into what happened.
Why are people suddenly denying they did it all for the nookie? Have they taken that cookie and stuck it up their yeah?
You can keep claiming this all you want, but nothing changes the fact that the "Not my President" crowd is playing right into the Russians' hands. And that's not even counting the antifa types who would probably be proud of the fact senpai notices them.
I don’t disagree with that. “Not my president” is definitely the wrong approach, and espousing any form of ideological extremism does benefit the Russians at this point.
Twitter just purged ‘Russian bots’, and Trump fans are crying as their followers vanish Is it too soon to cite the "privately owned company can do what it wants" riff?
