Nobody ever called him a moron - he must at least pretend to be conducting an unbiased investigation, call witnesses, follow up on stories created by CNN and MSNBC and the countless reports of phony leaks - no worries since he already stacked the investigator team with cronies and pals and almost certainly other lefties who hate most things that make America worthwhile.
Like all true non-partisans, Mueller will get complaints from both sides that he's biased. Right now, however, there are slightly louder yells from the GOP, for reasons that might escape us if we left the cell door open and let the guards at the whiskey.
Ah, they are so very sneaky, these enemies that surround you. They act in good faith, but only to trick you. The most mischievous have been acting honourably for decades, out of pure spite. The worst of the devils have cultivated their whole character as to be decent and just and fair-minded, even as their ultimate purpose remains nefarious. For why else would such men ever oppose you? Some are true heroes. The bastards.
You know, things like nativism, gaybashing, prayer in schools, blowing your load every time you hear the Star Spangled Banner, etc.
^That's one of them, freedom to be. And the left opposes freedom to speak, if the left disagrees. Wants to regulate "hate." Essentially present themselves as benign 'fascists' because they are certain their way is right. Really, very much like the religious right, whom they fear and hate. Two sides of the same fucking coin, much like Christians and atheists, the faithful and faithless, such certainty is inspiring.
It's not as simple as that and I think you know it. I'll admit there are some leftists who think even saying the n-word or calling someone a faggot should be a crime, but 'regulating hate' usually means not letting assholes who use words like that put their bigotry into practice. There's no such thing as being intolerant of intolerance. My opinion? Say whatever the fuck you want, but try to take someone's rights away and you're an enemy of freedom. Not hard to understand. But wait, what about a bakery that won't make cakes for evil homos? I think they should have every right to say no. I also think the public has every right to call them assholes and organize boycotts of their products. Free speech is free speech.
+1 No argument from me on any of that. [except of course that first part which was phrased ironically]
One wonders who the pure and noble lot are, then, that are the honorable defenders of free expression and never seek to repress views they do not agree with.
^Yup, lately every instance of repressing povs with which they disagree or which they dislike is part of leftist activism.
You mean like tge efforts to gag scientists and prevent data collection on human caused climate change? Both sides have gotten pretty fucking disgusting of late.
Rumor has it that the first arrests will be made Monday. http://thehill.com/homenews/adminis...-special-counsel-muellers-russia-probe-report
As I said months ago, people that thought this investigation would drag on for years b/c the Ken Starr investigation did were making a fundamental mistake. The two just aren't comparable as White Water and all the other supposed Clinton scandals were completely baseless. There was nothing there for Starr to find, which is why it had gone dormant until Linda Tripp called him up. On the other hand Trump's scandals are the exact opposite. The crimes of he and his circle are readily apparent. The only question is to their number and depth.
Now we know why those pundits who carry water for Trump have been in a tizzy all week saying Mueller should resign, the real scandal is Hillary and the Dems, etc.
Wow, Fox isn't even trying any more. The above is what their front page has to say about Trump-Russia.
First charges are filed: http://www.cnn.com/2017/10/27/politics/first-charges-mueller-investigation/index.html
It looks that way. Assuming that there's considerable wrongdoing, I'd expect Mueller to go after the small fish before trying to get someone close to Trump. I'm not convinced that the stories about arrests coming Monday are true, or that the charges are necessarily all that significant. They could be something as mundane as failing to disclose information on government paperwork.
If true I have money that says it is Manafort. We already know they have dirt on him. Flynn cannot be far behind.
Given that Mueller specifically worked with state level officials to identify state level charges so as to avoid corrupt Trump pardons... Well, Trump just might be held accountable for his crimes after all. All of this would explain Trump's recent baseless attacks on Mueller as well as his desperation to smear the rule of law.
Roger Stone in full twitter meltdown! This must be pretty serious news. http://deadline.com/2017/10/roger-s...ana-navarro-cnn-severe-punishment-1202196664/
