My intent is to point out the laziness and racist policies of show runners and Hollywood producers who think race swapping characters is a good idea. They are doing what you are doing, implying that black people are incapable of creating original content that can rise to legacy status.

The creator of the Powerpuff Girls pitched 16 different shows to Cartoon Network that were all passed on until he broke down to offer a PPG reboot because he had bills to pay.

Look, most of us WANT new fucking stories with new characters, regardless of race, but Hollywood is more than happy to keep recycling the same 50 properties over and over into the dirt so "blackwashing" white characters is the next best thing. Wasn't the deal with Milestone that the creator/originator ran into some kind of major health issue? Then DC ate Milestone. Man, I miss Icon. That was a great book.
