Meet Barney. Seven and a half weeks old, mum a border collie, dad a mystery... He is going to be huge!, he's twice the size of some of his siblings, he's already learned 'sit' and 'shake paw', he asks to go outside to crap, but he pees everywhere... He's absolutely wonderful...

He chewed through the phone cable in the living room today... And he keeps trying to chew OH's slippers. Oedi is royally pissed off, but they have met, and we're making extra fuss of her so she doesn't get too jealous. OH was online this afternoon, checking on the football and his bets, and Barney just stretched out at his feet and went to sleep. It's astonishing, he's taken no time at all to settle in. No tummy upsets or anything that you normally get with a new pet.
More pix as he gets bigger and daughter takes more...

Ooooohhhhhh very nice! He's a cute little guy, huh?

Rifle Spryte and I got us a little feller this past week. I'll start my own thread so I don't hijack Linda's.

*sigh* So as long as OH is around, Barney's behaviour is impeccable. As soon as he's out of the room... :bang:
It's good in a way: he's already accepted that the alpha male is boss. I suppose he's still too much of a puppy to see the females as anything but indulgent. So daughter and I get to be bad cop till he learns his place in the pecking order. :garamet:

He's still an adorable little bundle of fuzz, which doesn't make it easy...

 That's daughter's bag! She's stopped leaving it on the floor since Barney started chewing anything he can reach... ;)
