In the jaws special they attacked the airtank myth, and "proved" that it was false...

But, I've been thinking about it and they didn't duplicate the conditions of the myth exactly...

I mean, Bruce the shark was shown chewing/biteing down on the air tank... How much pressure/force is in that downward bite adding to the shell of the tank... an aluminum tank... when it was shot?

I'm sure it's about as accurate as it can get.

But I'd like to find out how much force Kari can generate with her mouth. :)

They blew the tank using pyrotechnics, Ted.

Yes, I realise that bear  I was mearly pointing out that they "busted" the myth withought takeing into account all aspects, and questining weither it would have made a difference in the outcome had they applied the pressure to the tank befor it was hit with the shot...

They DID apply pressure to the tank. Made a custom jaw with teeth and everything.

Maybe I can disguise it as a corn cob, or spinach manicotti

    Next, on Forgebusters:

Oldfella attempts to see if Kari will go down on a spinach manicotti...

    (preview)

Oldfella: Hey, Kari, I have something for you!
Kari: Oooh! A spinach manicotti! My favorite! (kneels)
    (crunching sound)
    Oldfella:
    Kari: Kinda chewy...
    Oldfella: (squeaks) help!
