When I was really young, like around four years old, I walked into a Wendy's with my parents and threw up on the floor. It's one of my earliest memories. To this day, over thirty years later, I haven't eaten a single morsel of Wendy's food. The smell makes me ill. And it wasn't even Wendy's that made me sick that day. Plus square burgers? Go fuck yourself.
I don’t like their sea salt fries, the old ones were better and could handle being dunked in a frosty. They somehow fucked up bacon too based on the last time I went there.
That’s the only thing I used to get from there. Then I discovered the spicy chicken sandwich from Chic-fil-A and haven’t been to Wendy’s since. CFA’s sandwich is a lot spicier.
CFA is the best chicken sandwich from any of those places that I've had. Can someone please start a best pizza thread?
I've never liked their chicken nuggets. Gross as fuck. My mom liked to get those things for our beagle and boxer. Me, I'd just get a 20 piece from McDonald's and just split it with them at five apiece. Not even dogs should that crap
I kind of like their Baconator. Fun story - ate one in Alabama and my gallbladder sent me to the ER the next day.
He admits to eating at a chain store instead of a local joint! I knew it was all lies! Begun the food wars have......
No huge loss, but there are some things I miss from Wendy’s, which has no stores in China. . Jr Bacon Cheeseburger — nice snack . Chili cup — unique for fast food . Frosties — unique for fast food ice cream
I prefer the Wendy's burgers to most of their direct competition (McD's, BK, etc...). The fries are good. The Spicy Chicken sandwich is spicy than Chick-Fil-A's, no matter what shootER says. The salads are decent, and the Frosties ROCK!!!! (especially the vanilla ones)
I agree with everything except the spicy chicken sandwich. It’s better than some chains, but it’s just not really spicy.
CFA is certainly good. Maybe a bit spicier, I agree. I don't care for Wendy's fries, but CFA's waffle fries aren't that much better, IMO. I'm unhappy with CFA at the moment because they stopped selling their chicken salad sandwich.
The $1 Wendy's double stack burger looks almost pathetically small but I haven't tried it yet. A couple of years ago they had the Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger for $0.99 and that was a screaming deal.
The Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger is now $1.99 (where I live, but I think it's fairly universal), and it is really tiny, and very dry. I'm not sure what kind of patties they use, but they don't taste like the made fresh ones you get for the singles (which are still fantastic).
