New mods?

I noticed that Clyde and Paladin seem to be sporting the mod pips. When did this happen? Where do they exercise their god like powers? Was anybody else admitted to the pantheon? And if I missed the announcement, please point me the way and give this the good ol it deserves!

Clyde has been mod for a while, Paladin just joined us.

Yeah, but Clyde had half a pip icon, now he has 1.5 (at least on my computer). Much confusion!
