Trump's plays on more primal needs like jobs and security while Obama played the more broadly popular 'the haves have too much and owe you some of theirs'.

Blaming those with the most political power for political problems is sensible; blaming those with the least political power for those problems is absurd; saying those two things are equal is stupid.
