So I was watching tonight's episode, and in the chase at the end Castle and Beckett run into a chinese-operated warehouse. Beckett holds up a picture and demands 'WHERE IS THIS MAN?!' The two workers are silent. Then Castle, in chinese, says 'My partner is crazy. If you don't tell her she'll start shooting.' They gesture to the back and run out. Beckett, surprised, looks at Castle and asks 'Semester abroad?' Castle says 'No, an old TV show I used to love'.
That's pretty cool. Of course they did the "Castle dresses up as Mal Reynolds" gag for Halloween last year too.
It's just not the same! Castle is mindless entertainment and I just can't get into it. I love Fillion, but I refuse to watch this dreck. God, I miss Firefly.
Yeah, it's about as "light hearted" as a light hearted cop show can get. It can jump the line into "too goofy" very easily.
