Tired of hearing complaints about the dirty air from both NJ and NY residents, Governor Chris Christie will get rid of it entirely. "This will give them something to cry about!" sneered the Governor. The ban will begin gradually, with banning high capacity lungs being the priority.
"Does anybody reeeaaaly need two lungs to breath? There are people who run 10K races with one lung.
Matter-of-fact I've been smoking for all my adult life, and my lung feels great!" shouted Christie to an enthusiastic crowd gathered at a press conference outside his office this morning.

I see you've driven past Port Elizabeth!

I commuted from the Hackensack area to Newark for almost a year. I had to hold my breath every time I went thru that stretch of the turnpike.
If that's the only part of Jersey a lot of travelers see, no wonder we got this rep!
